Introduction

Centro de Dia da Praia do Manduco (Praia do Manduco Centre for the Elderly) is a community centre for the elderly run by the Social Welfare Bureau. It has been established for 35 years and has been providing social, recreational, educational activities and other social services to the elderly in the Praia do Manduco district. In order to meet the diverse needs of the community, the Social Welfare Bureau hopes to introduce better management so as to enhance services for the elderly and enrich their lives. Therefore, it has commissioned the Caritas - Macau to manage the elderly centre to serve the elderly at the Praia do Manduco district since November.

Objective

Based on the values and beliefs of serving the elderly, we aim to enhance the overall well-being and value of the elderly’s life through the organization and provision of social welfare services and social support networks.

Service Target

●        Elderly aged 55 or above;

●        Residents of Praia do Manduco District

Application

●        Provide some simple personal information and start the probation;

●        You are required to fill in an application form and submit three 1.5 inches recent photos, copy of identification document and membership fees after completing the probation;

●        You will become an official member after being approved.

Monday to Saturday: 09:00-13:00, 14:00-18:00

(Closed on Sundays & Public Holidays)
